Artist's Comments
Full View! (look Ida-chan! even more HP art! hahaha!)
yes, Professor Snape is indeed smiling (i never said he was good at it )
In my opinion Alan Rickman is the best cast actor in the HP movies. (don't get me started on the replacement Dumbledor... he's as terrible as the original one was great... this artist has it perfectly [link] ) Anyway, Mr. Rickman is indeed a perfect Snape... But in the books i always pictured him more like this.
I really like your Snape, and that treatment on his robes is spectacular... Wow, full view really is how it should be seen ...
I must say that I love Michael Gambon as A. Dumbledore, however ... He suites my own Idea of the character just fine ... and that is good enough for Me...
I, too, picture Snape more in the manner that you have portrayed him, although I think Alan Rickman is the perfect MOVIE Snape. Never mind that he's older and not rail-thin. The voice and the nose win me over!
oh and hey, if you like the newer movie Dumbledore, no worries! I preferred Sir Richard Harris. But everyone has their own tastes... so i'm cool with that
Thanks Again!

if you're falling off a building you may as well try to fly... what have you got to lose?
I specially love the embroidery at the ends of Severus's Coat ... OOOooOOoOOOoOOOooo Delicious ...
Sir Michael Gambon was Knighted as well ... I did like Sir Richard Harris, but I believe he was already to ill to do the part it's true justice, and the character in filming suffered because of it... C. Columbus was trying desperately to handle the situation as best as could be managed... I've probably said too much on the subject, I will leave it at that.
